Our immediate focus is to protect the health and well-being of the centre of Wadebridge. It is our view that a major expansion in out-of-town supermarkets will bring about that decline in the town centre that has already occurred in most similar towns. Some people feel that Wadebridge is uniquely strong and can withstand such out-of-town supermarket competition. We feel that it would be unwise to take that risk. LOVEWADEBRIDGE is therefore not anti-supermarket, it is FOR protecting the vibrant and successful town centre.
